Dow Jones Sustainability Index
The Company was been included on the Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index for the seventh consecutive year demonstrating strengths in areas such as codes of business conduct, environmental policy and management systems as well as environmental reporting, product stewardship, and corporate citizenship and philanthropy.

Leadership level in CDP's Scores for Corporate Transparency & Action on Climate Change

The Company was been included in the leadership band in CDP’s 2019 scores for corporate transparency and action on climate change. Companies scoring within the leadership band are recognized for their transparent and comprehensive disclosure of climate data, thorough awareness of climate risks, demonstration of strong governance and management of climate risks and demonstration of market-leading practices. .

SAM Sustainability Yearbook
The Company was been included in the 2020 SAM Sustainability Yearbook for the eighth-consecutive year. The Comapny received a Bronze Class distinction signifying that it achieved a mark between 5% to 10% of the top scores in the Textiles, Apparel and Luxury Goods industry. Gildan was the only North American company to be included amongst the 2020 Sustainability Leaders in this sector.

The Company was once again a recipient of the FUNDAHRSE CSR Seal awarded by the Foundation for Corporate Social Responsibility in Honduras (FUNDAHRSE) for the 12th consecutive year. The CSR seal recognizes Honduran companies that demonstrate leading practices related to corporate social responsibility.

In 2019, Gildan received a rating of AAA (on a scale of AAA-CCC) in the MSCI ESG Ratings.

Gildan was listed as the top 25th brand within the 250 global brands on the 2020 Fashion Transparency Index (FTI).
